Body Control and Flexibility To Improve Performance
Body Control and Flexibility to Improve Performance - Level One
Russ Krachun shares his philosophy and unconventional methodology in the careful development of body control, flexibility, and suppleness in key areas of the horse's anatomy, including the neck muscle, poll, rib cage, and hindquarters. This unique methodology is firmly based on the same principles and educational approaches utilized for any world-class athlete.
You will discover that true softness and suppleness are cultivated through meticulously structured step-by-step methods that connect seamlessly to one another via consistent repetitions and targeted exercises performed in forward motions at various speeds.
This comprehensive methodology not only enables the neck muscle, rib cage, and hindquarters to stretch effectively but also enhances their development of critical muscle memory.
Building muscle memory is crucial for athletes, enhancing their physical and mental skills to reach their highest potential. Similarly, developing body control and flexibility in a horse's muscles is vital for better performance in various activities. A flexible horse is more likely to understand and respond willingly, leading to improved performance.
