Participant Requirements: General Horsemanship knowledge is required and also confident under saddle at walk, trot and lope - Suitable for novice to advanced level
Horse Requirements: A confident and safe horse started under saddle -Not for colt starting - Education designed to further develop the horse mentally and physically under saddle.
Equipment Required: Halter, Lead Rope, Helmet, Saddle, Blanket, Cinch, Bridle, and Leg Wraps.
The length of time required to complete this topic varies depending on both the individual student and their horse. Russ provides personalized instruction as you work directly with your horse at his facility, tailoring the lessons to your specific needs and progress. To continue advancing, it is essential for the student to consistently practice each step outside of the sessions in order to fully solidify and maintain the progress made. Each session begins with a focused two-hour lesson. Additional hours can be added to suit your goals and schedule.
